My classroom project will reach approximately 200 students and will ensure that their productivity stays up and they can take pride in taking care of a classroom that provides for them, in return. My middle schoolers will be able to choose their preferred studio set-up, on an art bench, at a desk, or on a stool with a drawing board, to create in a flexible space that suits the work style of each individual. They will collaborate and problem-solve as they move through their practice while learning and growing through visual art. As more than 3/4 of my students are from low income households, this is an opportunity not commonly afforded.

About my class
