I am beginning my third year of teaching. After student input from this past year, students enjoy changing up the environment in which they work. I would love to give my students the opportunity and resources to use flexible seating within our classroom. With these resources, I feel that I will be able to provide students with a comfortable environment to collaborate and grow. Comfortable students are calm, focused, and productive. I will be able to enable new teaching strategies and practices within our classroom. Along with this, students will have the chance to increase collaboration and reduce extended sitting throughout their day at school. A comfortable learning environment will lead to more student engagement, which means more success! This project would significantly help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day.
