These materials will be used during reading intervention on campus. Researches in the field point to the benefits of early exposure to reading manipulatives. The materials will provide hands-on learning solutions in building foundational skills in early learners, while bridging the gap for those who are behind. Students who find reading challenging need rigorous, systematic phonics instruction. Therefore please assist me equipping these scholars with the fundamental reading skills required to be on track for college. The mobile and student whiteboards will be used during small group; while the letter cards will enhance phonics instruction.
