Are you someone who likes to work while standing? Or are you someone who can only sit for a few minutes before needing to stand up and move? These adjustable sit/stand desks are just the right thing for students who answer yes to these questions. In my classroom I strive to make the learning environment fit the needs of my students. These desks will give an alternative to those students that have an abundance of energy, have physical restrictions, or just have a need to stand. Research shows that standing while working can help students to focus, improve productivity, and improve their energy and mood. When students have options they are more inclined to be engaged in the lessons and feel they have ownership over their education.
