I am a second year teacher starting my career in a smaller district. Resources are limited but learning is plenty. My students are eager to learn and take pride in their learning. I want to give them a space that is organized, as well as inviting, for them to feel comfortable and enjoy reading. I want to keep the reading area organized so the students don't waste time searching for a book. The new carpet will give them a clean and comfortable space they can take pride in and enjoy coming to! Daily the students will have opportunity for silent reading and this space will support successful reading.
