A great challenge our kids face is not only financial, but also physical, emotional, and mental, which includes Exceptional Students Education (ESE) with special accommodations, ADHD, ADD, etc. In a class with English learners, it is very helpful when children know exactly where to seat and can identify their spot by color and place. It also help students with their social interactions and recognition of everybody's personal space. We use the carpet to create a classroom community, have class meetings, circle time, whole group lessons, etc. A great challenge our kids face is not only financial, but also physical, emotional, and mental, which includes Exceptional Students Education (ESE) with special accommodations, ADHD, ADD, etc.
