One key detail that all classrooms need is a meeting space. In this space, community is built and learning takes place. My classroom is in need of such a space. The room in which I will be in was a second grade classroom. In the fall, I will welcome a crop of third graders. The current rug has seen better days and is too primary for this maturing group. They are beyond the ABC theme and need something fresh. I have chosen an artful rug map of the United States. This new rug will not only serve as seating, but it will also be a geographical learning opportunity. Please help me make this wish a reality!
