These students haven't had a functioning school library in several years. I have gladly volunteered to be the school librarian so these kids can find a love for reading. The books that we currently have are outdated and in bad shape. Many of our students will have trouble finding a book they would be interested in. With updated books, these kids will want to read and reading leads to improved grammar, writing skills, intelligence, vocabulary, and thinking skills! There are many benefits to reading and I want to help these students benefit without them even knowing it's happening! They deserve a school library!
