Flexible seating allows learners to be in charge of their learning and make choices that work best for them. During independent work or reading they can choose the seat and location in the room that works best for them. Ensuring that students are comfortable and allowing them to actively participate in their learning helps build trust and motivation as students learn and grow. The furnishings that I have selected will give my students additional seating options allowing them to make effective learning choices. The wobble chairs will allow students to be able to sit and complete assignments while also giving students that need movement a way to get the wiggles out. The comfortable floor seats and cushions will give students comfortable floor seating for working and reading. These seats are light weight and can be transported to various areas throughout the classroom. I know that having student choice will positively impact students love of learning. I believe that the added options will help them to continue to grow in their educational journey. Thank you in advance for taking part in helping to grow a community of srudents that feel comfortable in the classroom and have a love and desire for learning.
