Art and music integration is a powerful tool to help students engage in and understand core subjects. Integrating the arts helps students make connections that they might not have made otherwise. Boomwhackers can be used in the classroom to talk about sound waves, vibration, and energy. Additional integration with math helps students understand fractions through rhythm by talking about quarter notes, eight notes, sixteenth notes, etc. Boomwhackers in the classroom can also be used for quick brain breaks to help students follow simple instructions while giving them something fun to do. These Boomwhackers will be used heavily from year to year.
