Technology is the wave of the future. My science classroom is in desperate need of access to technology on a regular basis. At the moment I have 2 classroom desktop computers but my average class size is 30 students. We frequently use online applications in a whole class setting to demonstrate scientific concepts such as genetics, moon phases, wave transmission, and laws of motion. Chrome books will help engage students in scientific discovery on an individual basis. My co-science teachers and I plan to build a classroom set of chrome books to share and put technology at our students' fingertips. Using chrome books will enable students to direct their own learning, explore what interests them, and demonstrate understanding through submissions on google classroom.
