In kindergarten, organization and flexibility are important to keep student engagement at its peak! Flexible seating and various supplies will aid in student engagement and classroom management. A new round table will allow students to engage with each other in centers and technology time. The table would be used on a daily basis in both reading and math. Students will have cushioned seating around the table to incorporate the idea of flexible seating. Flexible seating will help engage students with ADHD and help with their focus in all content areas. Students always love to have choices! Carpet circles will organize our carpet time by allowing students to find where they sit. Dry-Erase circles will engage students during guided reading. Dry-Erase circles will allow students to write the names of the characters, the setting, and various details from the stories.
