We could really use a rug and floor chairs for gathering as a class. I believe this rug will make my classroom even more welcoming than it already is, and provide us with a clean comfortable space to gather on. We voted on the color and they chose this rainbow color! The students also got to vote on the colors of the chairs and decided on blue and grey! A lot of my students have been shown to do better when they're able to move around the classroom and learn from where they are the most comfortable. I would love this opportunity so it gives my students the opportunity to learn and be successful anywhere in our classroom. It may seem like a small thing, but fifth graders still love to gather on the carpet for a good book!
