SnapWords will be used by our teachers in small reading groups to support acquisition of sight words. Research shows incorporating a multi-sensory approach engages students with learning disabilities and second language learners. Each card has a picture, sight word and a movement to capture a student's attention. We are growing great readers and leaders for tomorrow. By donating to our project we can supply all of our first and second grade classrooms with a complete set. We also can support our ELL and reading teachers with a set of their own to reach even more students. Thank you for consideration.
