If my project is funded I will be able to create a classroom that children will look forward to going to. I will be able to spark joy in reading. A joy that has been lost to social media. Flexible seating encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm, focused and productive. Flexible seating is about more than simply having a variety of different, fun seats in the classroom. It’s about utilizing a student's voice, creating buy-in, heightening collaborative learning, and prioritizing students’ needs concerning the environment in which they learn It benefits students by giving them choices on how they learn best, it allows​ them to move, which will help them focus better, it fosters a sense of community, comfort, and collaboration and utilizes sensory input.
