Purpose: To keep lines of communication open between home and school on a daily basis that is consistent and organized. In this folder/binder, parents are able to see their child’s daily conduct. Also, the parent is able to write and receive notes to/from the classroom teacher. There is a spot for parents to indicate how long their child reads each night. Additionally, there is a spot for school payments and sight words for daily practice. Depending on how phonics words are selected, students also have a spot where they can write their weekly spelling words. Additionally, daily work is sent home daily in this folder.
