The use of the iPad can engage them by allowing them to create and submit assignments in a way that allows them to show their true creative side instead of just regular pencil and paper. Most of our computers are old and have damage(missing keys, broken trackpad) and this will be a way to have them excited to do the work. I teach Math and Science so they would have an opportunity to use this technology for multiple assignments. They would be able to show how they can create and way to show they understand what they are learning.
