Learning with autism can be different than others. Working in a highly structured classroom environment is what helps my students strive. We work daily with laminated activities and velcro, a day doesn't pass that these two aren't incorporated into the classroom! This helps them do independent activities on their own and teaching daily life skills to be successful. Task boxes and work systems are a big role in the classroom as well. Being able to have the materials like proper boxes and storage allow them to succeed in the classroom.
