This year, I purchased a curriculum that has different monthly themes for my students to use. This curriculum is tailored to help my students who have special needs to access areas of math, science, reading, and social s​tudies all surrounding an age-appropriate monthly theme. Each month's curriculum is made to be accompanied by a fiction and non-fiction story. This year, I had to play the stories on YouTube or read them from the Epic! book app, which made it harder to sustain my students' attention. I would like to have the books so that my students have something tangible that they can look at and interact with to help scaffold their learning.
