Flexible seating allows my students to feel comfortable and focused! My students earn free choice in seating when they make good choices. They almost always do this! After I model how to use each seat they choose a seat that works best for them. They are more engaged when feel for empowered when they try out all the different seats then choose where they most comfortable. I like empowering the students to make choices through flexible seating because that is a life skill so they learn from their mistakes and find what works for them in a motivating atmosphere. All students have different needs.
