We're highly encouraged to incorporate new technology into our lessons but with so many students and so few resources, it can be a daunting task. We can target skills in math, for instance, by putting some kids on specific programs in the iPads while others work on skills with the teacher. In reading, some children can work on basic reading skills while others are working on comprehension passages with the teacher. Interactive programs on the iPads are fun and engaging. We're hoping to differentiate our lessons with items that will work with the various learning levels we teach, often within the same groups. Children learn in many different ways but universally we've found that hands-on work well. If we can put something in their hands, we can grab their attention!
