I had these students last school year as 1st graders, and am very happy to kind of "loop". Typically a loop is back to back, but we will are skipping a year. Students do grow, but eagerness to learn hasn't left YET. I want to jump right into learning and building the love of reading that they now have the foundation of. This group of students was one of the hardest groups I have had, to "figure out" but in reality the girls wanted mystery and fairy "girly" themed things, while my boys wants bugs, sports, mystery, a challenge, and so much more. I'm requesting a variety of fiction and nonfiction including How Baseball Works, Magic Mix-Up!, Martha Speaks: Martha On The Case, and Jumping Spiders. I know that with these specifically chosen titles students will continue their love of reading. Thank you for helping.
