Using personal calculators is indeed a daily necessity in Accounting and a common need in both Financial Literacy and Marketing. Every single student at our school will eventually benefit from the addition of this classroom set of calculators. It has become increasingly difficult to control students and their inappropriate use of personal devices in the classroom. Too many times kids are resigned to asking to use their iphones, etc. in order to do simple calculations. Sadly, many kids these days cannot be trusted to 'stay on task." having a nice set of calculators for daily use will greatly alleviate if not eliminate this dilemma.
