Students will learn Science curriculum while spending time in the outdoor classroom. We will explore the surrounding habitats of Honey Creek while learning about food chains and food webs, adaptations, fossils and geology, stream ecology, astronomy, as well as participate in team building activities. After doing so, students will be reflective in their science journals. The outdoors of Honey Creek provides an opportunity for real learning because students become engaged and motivated outside the walls of the indoor classroom. In a time when students are preoccupied with electronic media and less connection to nature, Science Camp provides this learning experience.

About my class
