The materials I am asking for will help students better understand the differences between flying a plane or drone from a line-of-sight perspective, and flying FPV or First Person View. I hope to impress upon them the subtle changes a pilot experiences when controlling an object from the two different methods. We will eventually be able to put our skills to the test in head-to-head competition when we race each other, and refine our fine-motor skills for more precise work when navigating obstacle courses. The advantage to using small drones like these is that they can be flown indoors and that they are virtually indestructible. The 3D printer filament will provide our students with the necessary media to continue experimenting with 3D printing in the class and clubs.
