In preschool we really work on being independent and this shelf will help us keep organized. We will place pictures and names on each shelf for the students to work on identifying their names. It is important that students have their own space and materials to be responsible for. By having this shelf students will have plenty of space to begin to get their own papers, folders, and other materials in their own cubby. We have always worked on getting folders out on our own and starting that habit, but with this we will be able to expand and work on more independent skills.
