All of my students love to learn, and each do so in a different way. In the centralized classroom hands-on activities are an important instructional tool, as each student in the classroom has varying intellectual, physical, behavioral, and sensory needs. By adding hands-on activities to the Science curriculum that relate to what they are learning. Students will be able to use the materials to engage in their learning, showing what they know as they use the materials to identify life cycles, parts of plants, living and non-living things. Providing my students with the opportunity to manipulate things as they learn is key to their success. Students will be able to explore science as they learn. Students are much more excited about learning when they are able to explore and play as they learn.
