Sometimes, we have trouble getting the tools we need to help our students be successful. Writing is HARD for most special needs students, especially those with autism, and also students with fine motor delays. These tools will make a difficult task a little easier by providing guides for pencil position, and sensory input with raised lines on the paper. The slant board decreases physical discomfort by introducing a more comfortable writing posture. With these tools, they can FEEL how to hold a pencil, where to write, and be as comfortable as possible. They can FEEL their success with these tools.
