My students tend to follow along with our readings when the books contain an upbeat audio cd with it. They enjoy sitting in the listening center after work is complete, popping on some headphones and following along to their book of choice. My students love the books so much that my current set is starting to get a bit worn but they have lasted me several years. These books will most certainly get used and my students and I will be utterly greatful for them. They are age appropriate and keeps the students engaged in reading and following along with a story.
