My students will be given a guided tour of Iolani Palace by a historical docent. By immersing themselves in the culture of their ancestors, they will come back with a new understanding of their heritage and the sacrifices of their ancestors. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many of the students to visit the capitol of their state and learn about their ancestry in one of the actual places that important events took place. They will come back with new understanding of their culture and be able to use this to create a better future for themselves and others.

About my class
