Students strive for a place to feel safe, included, and welcome and my students are striving to do that in a school that is typically the complete opposite. I have worked hard to get a school ambassadors class started and one of their main jobs will be to promote school spirit and inclusion of all students. One way that we are promoting school spirit and inclusion is to implement spirit days every Friday. It is a way to bring people together and have some fun. To do this successfully we need supplies to make large posters and promote these activities. We also strive to do more community outreach which will require posters to share information to all students and parents who enter our campus.
