Students will have access to games, cards, etc. during these winter months. Having books will help to promote our 1,000,000 word reading goal. Students working with others using cards and games will also help with our social emotional learning initiative, as students will have to share and hold conversations with each other. Reading and working with others are lifelong skills that we want to help our students learn early on. With more constructive things to do during the cold months, students will also learn to work with each other while having fun! Hopefully, this will help our students to de-stress!
