As a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) classroom that is focused primarily on Project-Based Learning, my students need to be able to have access to technology daily. Students will learn to collaborate with classmates through the use of technology to research, design, plan, and test theories in their STEM learning. In addition to using the technology for Project-Based Learning, my students will use the Chromebooks for individualized instruction and personalized remediation to allow all students the best opportunity for success. For example, the added technology in the classroom will allow me to give students different assignments based on where they are in their own learning. As students are working, various online programs allow me to track on-the-spot data for each student to correct mistakes as they happen as opposed to after the fact. Students can also complete individualized remediation plans through programs like USA Test Prep, Google Modules, and Khan Academy all on the Chromebook.
