The items I chose are to help create work systems for the classroom. The bins and organizational components will be used to help my students become more independent and foster a routine that will eliminate the unnecessary stress of not knowing what comes next. The goal is to make our classroom organized, functional and fun! After going to a TEACCH training over the summer for professional development, I saw first hand how a clear and organized work system can help students on the spectrum. I want to create that same structure for my students. I know that these work systems will help them thrive!
