Being a first year teacher I don't have a lot of art supplies in stock. Most of the fun and creative projects I do in my classroom are funded by me. I want to give my students a variety of supplies to be creative, and to foster their artistic imagination. In this project I have asked for, Crayola paints, aprons, paint brushes, oil pastels, and more. In our district 5 elementary schools share 1 art teacher. Therefore, I, as their teacher, need to give my students more of an opportunity to explore their artistic abilities. Most of these items are art supplies that students do not get to play and create with at home. These materials will make a difference in my students learning by giving them a wide variety of materials with which they can manipulate and create art.
