When students are organized, they can easily the material they are learning. Loose-leaf notes can be easily lost and misplaced and difficult to keep over a fast-paced course over a relatively short period of time. Spiral notebooks keep their work in one place. I want to provide my students every chance to succeed. Being quoted very large classes to start the summer session, I need to be prepared for every possibility. I was quoted 40+ students to start the session, but even with the inevitable attrition, I want to make sure that I have supplies for everyone - even if they finish their first notebook prior to the end of the summer session.
