I have been teaching for 2 years, and in that short time I have discovered that I cannot run my classroom in the traditional way. Students are changing their learning preferences so rapidly. I was used to sitting in a desk all day and listening to my teacher with just a few short breaks. The student I was in school is not the typical student in my classroom today. I want to incorporate more movement in my classroom in future years. I am planning on teaching a short lesson on the carpet and then have students work around the room in their best working space!
