These materials will support the daily learning of the preschoolers. The items chosen were based upon the sensory and science needs within the classroom, and can be used with children of varying abilities. Anything that can be done in the classroom can be done outdoors. Too many children do not get the benefit of outdoors daily. Our preschoolers get ample outdoor time and this would afford them the chance to use the materials indoors, but more importantly outdoors. We have a beautiful outdoor space that has a variety of mulch, grass and concrete. These materials would continue their educational learning while being immersed in nature.
