My students are creative and eager to learn new things, especially instruments! These keyboards will be the start of a piano lab at my school. This will give students the opportunity to create and perform new music every day. Many of our students do not have the opportunity to play instruments at home, and that is why I so dearly want to expose them to as many as possible. Piano teaches students valuable life skills, such as patience and perseverance, and of course, helps to reinforce all of the musical terms and skills we have learned as a class over the years. My students will be able to connect the ​piano to the learning going on in their general education classroom as well as real-world examples and skills used in society and today's workforce.
