The resources I am asking for in my classroom will be something my students use daily whether they are in class or virtual. As a teacher I try to incorporate reading in my student's daily assignments. For students that struggle, it is important that they are provided resources to help them become better readers. Good quality headphones are often something that not every family is capable of providing. Students that are not equipped at school with headphones are often borrowing from classmates in order to listen to a story being read or watching a learning video attached to a lesson. Being able to provide each student with a pair of headphones will keep the spread of germs down and also help students learn responsibility in keeping up with and taking care of their headphones. A microphone will aid me as a teacher in recording lessons for students who are absent from school and when school is in session virtually. Some students struggle with being able to sit still in their chairs, so fidget bands will help them be able to move but also be able to focus in class.
By donating to my project, you are helping students who may not always have the resources needed and providing them the opportunity to be successful. My students will be able to focus during class time and also be meeting their needs of needing activity but without distracting others. These resources will be a great benefit for my students and ultimately be aiding in their success in the classroom.
