These magazines will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that I strive to create. My ELA classroom is a place where my students work collaboratively daily. Scholastic news is a great resource for all modes of writing: narrative, opinion, and informative. They also have a language component. With these Scholastic magazines, my students will be able to create all modes of writing and learn current events as well as history at the same time. They will also be able to read articles that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these magazines will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
