With an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) student population, the common​ struggle with typical socialization skills. However, by implementing and enforcing a social skills program within the classroom, encourages students to become more social amongst one another and possibly outside of the classroom. The board games will be implemented within the classroom curriculum. The books are to help students identify their emotions, learn how to address them, and become socially aware of social normalities. When students aren't capable of identifying their emotions or learn how to address them, this can interfere with their social encounters. These concepts coincide with one another.

About my class
