Who doesn't want to be comfortable while working? Well I wold love to provide flexible seating options in my classroom for students. Traditional desks in rows isolate students from each other. Flexible seating allows students to easily pair up, work in small groups, or discuss as a whole class. Many flexible seating options stimulate students' sense of touch. This type of stimulation can help children focus and process information. The flexible seating will help make a difference in small groups, paired assignments and during whole group instruction. Students can focus on instruction while having sensory stimulation. This will help students who suffer from A.D.D, A.D.H.D and special needs students. Although flexible seating assists students with disabilities it also helps students without disabilities focus as well!
