Technology is so much a part of our every day lives. Why not incorporate it in the classroom? The iPads I am requesting will be used to create and present projects in my music classroom. Students will use applications such as Garage Band and Staff Wars to make their own musical masterpieces and then show me and their peers their hardwork they have done. Staying active and engaged in a lesson is imperative as a teacher so that I can monitor and assess my students even better than before. In addition, I will use these iPads to instruct lessons and be able to move around the classroom at the same time. Students love technology and these iPads will make a great addition to my new music classroom to better prepare them for the world beyond the four walls of this school.
