I have an amazing group of 2nd and 3rd graders. They are very active and like to move. It is hard at times to keep their attention due to distractibility, ADHD, Tourette’s, and other learning challenges. I have begun to try flexible seating in my classroom. It has been extremely successful, although we have very limited choices. The children that have access to the wobbly stools and the beanbag chairs are more engaged and less distracted. They are able to move as needed. There are sensory needs and they are being met for some. Thank you for your consideration and time!
