For my students to be able to achieve their occupational therapy fine motor, visual motor, and gross motor goals, they need some basic supplies to use during remote learning. Some of the families do not have these supplies for our therapy sessions. When the children have the proper supplies that are geared to their developmental level, such as the proper scissors, it will be easier for the child to engage in the activity to work on specific skills. Also having the correct materials will allow for better treatment planning, and the student will be more excited to engage in our OT sessions as well as when practicing the skills with their parents when using their OT home kit!
