In my classroom, I like to have a designated spot for my students to sit while we learn or I read aloud. I’ve had the same rug for many years donated from a mentor teacher that had many previous years of love. Then, a couple of years ago, I bought a new one, but it did not make it long due to many spills and low-quality​ material. Buying a rug out of pocket is expensive, but I feel with this new seating area that can be manipulated to fit the space I need, my students will feel comfortable and attentive.
