The materials in this project will provide my students with a more authentic and hands-on approach to learning. These materials will help promote student engagement, which also promotes student achievement. Learning needs to be authentic, especially in special education. These products promote this authentic learning to occur. By providing hands-on materials like for the letter sound tubs, they get to interact with real items that have this initial sound. Products also help meet the various needs of our learners. It promotes academics as well as other areas of development such as fine motor. Making learning fun, engaging, and hands-on will promote student growth and development.
