I am the school social worker. Students that are referred to me often have a challenging history or are actively experiencing big life changes. Their little bodies have A LOT of energy that they are using to try to process what is happening in their world. Traditional classroom setting can be difficult for them. Giving them flexible seating allows them the motion they need to self-soothe, while still learning the social emotional skills they need to be successful in a classroom. With the right supports, these students can learn and build positive relationships with peers and teachers!

About my class
