I strongly believe that all students learn in different ways. My job is to provide them with options that work best for them. Flexible seating will allow them to choose the best option to optimize their learning experience. When they have these options, they are more engaged in the learning process. My goal as their teacher is to provide them with the best learning environment that helps them. These materials will maximize their learning potential. They will also feel a stronger sense of autonomy and ownership over their learning experience. I specifically chose these seating options based on what would benefit the students. The cushions and exercise balls will be effective for students with sensory needs. The bean bags will be utilized in a comfortable independent reading area.
